    Question for bee keepers

    Would long sleeve gloves used for bee keeping work for picking fruit from thorny blackberry bushes? I am finding patches of blackberries and dewberries all over our property.

    I am also interested in finding an old used hive box with a few frames to set up on our property “just on case”. I am in southeast Georgia.

    I use goatskin gloves for beekeeping. From the wrist up is lighter fabric with vent material. I would think they would work well for berries. Dependon conditions, you may find a long sleeve shirt along with the gloves may help due to thelighter cuff material on the gloves
