Forum suggestion for the community
As I’m learning to navigate the forums and the Freesteading community site as a whole I thought of something that to me and perhaps many others might be a useful Forum section here on the site. Many of us are looking for properties, often in other states, but don’t necessarily have enough knowledge of those states or areas to know what real estate agents or land for sale sites etc. are best for finding what we’re looking for. Having a Forum section for Finding Your Place or Finding your Homestead or Finding your Freestead (you get the idea) might be a great place for folks like myself to look. It could be a place where folks can post properties that they know of that are for sale or where folks can post that they’re looking in a certain area and want to know if anyone knows of anything. Basically a place for those that are looking for or selling or know of someone selling a property that other like minded folks might be interested.
Just a thought and suggestion.

You could try going to the State Group and find the Subgroup, click on that and go to a state you may be interested in finding land, etc., and ask the members of that state for recommendations. If you had a particular area of a state in mind, mention that so those in that area could assist you.
I think they are trying to work out the particulars for some sort of Marketplace where people can buy/sell.trade etc., and this new section may feature a real estate section of people with properties for sale. I’m not sure if that could be a possibility as they are still at the drawing board on which route to take for a Marketplace-type section. LOTS of red tape they are trying to work out on that idea.-
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll check that out. That might be just the ticket. I’m still getting the hang of finding what’s where here on the site. I appreciate the guidance.

Go to COMMUNITIES, then find STATE GROUPS, click on that. You will see a heading called SUBGROUP, click on that to find the state you may be interested in.
We’ve all had to find our way around here and are glad to help those new to the site. Glad to have you aboard. There are always a lot of interesting discussions going on here.
