    think i am cursing, think again…lol

    i am now down to no pairs of socks without holes in them and can no longer make odd pairs without holes

    time i learned tor darn i guess

    is there a special needle or thread for darn it moments or could we get by with standard needles and threads…??

    what are your tips and tricks for darn it times…??

    You may be able to find an affordable sewing kit at the dollar store. They often come with pins, needles, spools, etc. You can also look up basic stitches to patch holes if you need to. I’m wishing you the best. 🙏✨

    I’ve never darned socks, but it seems to me that I remember my mother having special needles that she called darning needles. That may be my memory playing tricks on me. In your shoes (see what I did there?) I would go look for YouTube videos. I swear, I’ve gotten so dependent on YouTube to tell me how to do anything, it’s a wonder I can make my own coffee in the morning without watching a video.

    Honestly, me too. YouTube has been so useful for me that my hunnie and I made a channel looking to share information and make an impact. We found some genuine homesteading YouTubers who walked in integrity, so I took their advice and landed here. I’m still working to become more active here, but I just figured out how to turn my notifications on when using the internet window. 🤣

    You might check with Heidi at Rain Country, I believe she did a video 5 years or so ago. She is a wealth of knowledge with sewing
