Mr. Danny, thank you so much for sharing how to overcome problems with aluminum binding the phosphorus in the soil. You mentioned that the phosphorus should be liquid so that it can be taken up by the plant. Would you or someone else kindly share information on sources of phosphorus? Are there powders available that can be mixed and applied? I am grateful to our Heavenly Father for this group. Thanks to all who share their time and knowledge.

I’m going to try bone broth. I don’t have a grinder to grind the bones themselves for a powder/meal.

A pressure cooker can turn the bones to mush.

I was coming to say this! I use my pressure cooker to make broth and by the time the broth is done the bones just crumble!

Rabbit poop. I bought a rabbit and been reading and watching all the benefits that their poop provides. Danny did talk about it in his one video too.

RAW brand phosphorus is a powder that you mix with water and a 2 oz package makes 200 gallons. I use it and I get it from Amazon for about 10 dollars.

Just found the RAW brand phosphorus powder on sale (8 oz for $17 and change). Here’s the link: https://groindoor.com/nutrients/plant-supplements-additives/npk-raw-phosphorus-8oz/

I used that RAW phosphorus dry brand & it worked fantastic. I need to go put someone my pumpkin plants. Got a late start so I don’t know if they will produce blooms.

Great tip for making phosphorus! Next time you have a campfire, throw your leftover bones after the broth has been, made onto it. Bigger bones the better. When the fire gets hot enough it cooks the bones to a point that they simply just break down and turn to powder with the smallest amount of pressure. Way better than trying to grind or wait for mother nature to do her thing. Best part is it’s 100% free! 😉
