Berry Scoop

Danny talked about a berry Scoop last summer and I didn’t pay it much mind bc we didn’t have any hard to reach berries but our new homestead came loaded with wineberries and blackberries that are inaccessible without some kind of scoop until we get some goats clearing out the poison. Anyone have any recommendations?

No suggestion for a scoop, but I do use the leather welding gloves and arm protectors that’s sold at harbor freight. Keeps the thorns from tearing up my arms.

I’ve never seen one with a long handle. Possibly if you are able to get on Danny & Wanda’s live stream and ask them they can help you out. Possibility it’s something Danny invented out of necessity.

I use the riding mower around the berry patch. Poison ivy will get on the bottom of your shoes, but I use cheap sneakers for all of my yard work and so I do not care. Eventually the poison ivy will get walked off.

Hey, I bet goats like black berries also.

We are on mountain terrain, no flat spots to mow, I’ve weed Wacked but can’t get it all till maybe winter when I can take it all down. Or we can get goats set up.
