Danny mentioned butter in the Walmart video and mentioned the butter brought was the only one that didn’t have BST???? I am clueless here as to what he was talking about. Hoping someone can enlighten me. As just about everything has been tainted with something these days I make as much as I can from scratch. But was not aware of anything in Butter. I hope I haven’t got to start making that also.

Not sure, but what I do know is most “butter” is not butter! I like the KerryGold Irish butter. Yes its more expensive, but its pure butter made from grassfed cows. I always stock up my freezer with it.

Saw this article while looking at butter. This was posted 5 days ago and the butter is being pulled due to the packaging. One of the other reasons I stopped buying was anything that has aluminum foil packaging. I am switching over to stainless steel with my baking trays and pans as well. Because of Aluminum Toxicity. Never cooked in it except I never thought about my baking pans. https://winepressnews.com/2023/02/09/kerrygold-butter-is-being-pulled-from-shelves-due-to-dangerous-chemical-contamination-in-packaging/

The butter touches the inner paper lining.

I switched put my baking pans for Pampered Chef stoneware. It’s well worth the price. I have 2 of them in the oven right now making my grandson homemade hot pockets and cinnamon twists. Lol

Oh boy. Thanks for letting me know. It is just so hard you can’t rely on any food products these days. Even the basics.

I too have been buying it for years until recently. Mainly due to the price and actually switched brands to the same one Danny brought in the video. I am not overly keen but it will do for baking. I have looked into so many of the foods we have been buying and have always brought very little processed foods. I never thought to look at butter . I think in all honesty I will Use up what we have and be paying more and buying from our local Amish store in future. I actually have more faith in their products right now. Until proven otherwise .

From what I could find. Bovine somatotropin (BST) is a natural protein hormone that controls the amount of milk the cows produce. There is an artificial hormone called rBST. The “r” meaning recombinant. It could be he’s against rBST or any additional BST being given to dairy cattle other than what occurs naturally. Some people don’t like companies playing God with our food. Kinda like the GMO argument

Yes, Kerry Gold is a great tasting real butter. I purchase butter instead of margarine. I also make butter from Cream when I need to. I sure did enjoy you and Danny sharing your shopping trip to Wal-Mart. You both are great folk.
