Engaging with other members is one of the best parts of Freesteading Community. Here’s how to use reactions, likes, and following features:
- Reactions & Likes:Under any post, hover your mouse over the
button. You’ll see a variety of reactions (Like, Love, Haha, Insightful, Thank You, etc.). Click the one you want to send.Reactions are a quick and fun way to show appreciation without writing a full reply. - Following a Thread:
- Open any thread.
- At the top right of the thread (near the title), click the “Follow” button or the bell icon.
- Choose your notification preference (All replies, New replies only, etc.).You will now receive alerts whenever someone replies to that thread.
- Watching an Entire Forum:
- Go to the main forum list.
- Click the “Watch” button next to the forum name.This is useful if you want updates from a whole section (e.g., Off-Grid Projects or Introductions).
- Why this matters:Following threads keeps you in the loop on topics you care about without having to constantly check the forum. Reactions also help encourage good content and make members feel appreciated.
