How to Watch a Thread (Get Notifications)
- Open any thread.
- At the top right of the thread, click the Watch button (it looks like an eye icon).
- Choose:
- Watch with email (get email alerts)
- Watch without email (just site notifications)
- You’ll now get a bell notification every time someone replies!
Tip: You can watch/unwatch from the thread list by clicking the little eye icon next to any thread.
How to Mark Threads as Read
- At the top of any forum page, click Mark read (next to the Filters button).
- This clears all unread indicators so you only see new activity.
How to Use Filters (Super Useful!)
At the top of any forum or sub-forum you’ll see these buttons:- Sticky → shows only pinned threads
- Thread watched → shows only threads you are watching
- Filters → lets you sort by Newest, Oldest, Most replies, etc.
Pro tip: Use “Thread watched” to quickly see every homestead update you’re following!
