How to Request to Become a Moderator on Freesteading

We’re always looking for helpful, trustworthy, and active community members who want to help keep the forum clean, friendly, and growing.

How to Apply​

If you’re interested in becoming a Moderator, simply contact @Off Grid Andrew or @TAG AND BEE directly with a direct message.


Two easy ways to apply:

1. Send a Private Message (Conversation)
   • Click your username in the top right → Conversations → Start a Conversation
   • Send it to: Off Grid Andrew
   • Use a clear title like “Moderator Application – [Your Username]”
2. Tag me in a post or reply: Just write @Off Grid Andrew or @TAG AND BEE and tell us you’re interested in moderating.

What to Include in Your Message​

• Your username
• Why you want to be a moderator
• How active you are on the forum (or plan to be)
• Any relevant experience (previous moderation, community work, etc.)
• Which areas you’d like to help with (if any specific)

All applications will be reviewed. Being a moderator is a volunteer role that comes with responsibility — we’re looking for kind, fair, and level-headed people who align with the spirit of the Freesteading community.
