How to Report a Post or UserOur community is friendly, but if you see spam, harassment, off-topic content, or anything that breaks the rules, please report it. Reporting is private and helps the moderators keep Freesteading.com welcoming for everyone.
How to Report a Post
- Hover over the post you want to report.
- Click the three dots ⋯ at the top right of the post.
- Choose Report.
- Select a reason (Spam, Harassment, Off-topic, etc.).
- (Optional) Add a short note explaining why.
- Click Report.
Moderators will review it quickly and privately — you will not be named to the person you reported.
How to Report an Entire User
- Go to the user’s profile (click their username).
- Click the three dots ⋯ next to their name.
- Choose Report user.
- Fill in the reason and submit.
Important:
- Only report when something genuinely violates the rules.
- False reports can result in your own account being reviewed.
