How to Register and Set Up Your Profile

Welcome to Freesteading Community! Here’s how to get started:

1. On the homepage, click the big “Register” button (usually at the top right).
2. Fill in the required information:
   • Username (this is what people will see)
   • Email address
   • Password
3. Complete any security check (CAPTCHA).
4. Click “Register”.

After registering:

• Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for a verification email and click the link inside.
• Once verified, log in and click your username in the top right → Profile → Edit Profile.
• Add a profile picture (avatar) — recommended size: 200x200 pixels or larger.
• Write a short About You / bio.
• (Optional) Add your location, website, or social links.
• Save your changes.

Tip: A good avatar and short bio help other members recognize and trust you faster.
