How to Install the Freesteading iOS App on Your iPhone - iOS App Installation Video (Apple Phones)​

Clear Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Install the Freesteading iOS App on Your iPhone

Step 1: Open Safari and Go to the Website

Open the Safari browser on your iPhone.
Navigate to freesteading.com and log in to your account.

Step 2: Access the Share Menu
At the bottom right corner of the Safari screen, tap the three dots (⋯) menu.
Tap the Share button.

Step 3: Add to Home Screen
Scroll and tap View More (if needed).
Tap Add to Home Screen.

Step 4: Name and Add the App
Make sure Open as Web App is turned on.
You can edit the name (default is usually "Freesteading" — leave it or customize).
Tap Add in the top right.

Step 5: Open the New App
The Freesteading app icon will now appear on your home screen.
Tap the icon to open it (it functions as a full app, not just a website).

Step 6: Enable Push Notifications
When prompted with "Enable push notifications", tap Enable.
Tap Allow on the system permission popup.

Step 7: Customize Notification Preferences
Tap your profile icon (your photo or avatar) in the top right.
Tap Preferences.
Scroll down to the Push Notifications section.
  • Confirm it shows as enabled.
  • Toggle individual notification types on/off as desired.
    Tap Save to apply changes.

Done!
Your Freesteading iOS app is now installed as a standalone app on your home screen. You can receive push notifications directly to your iPhone without opening Safari.

Does the app have features the browser version doesn't have?
 
I was getting the add notification feature prompts on the browser - I was wondering why they weren't working tho after accepting. Now that I know its app specific that explains why.
Yes. And I think I’ve fixed that issue. After accepted, they should go away. If you keep seeing it please let me know
