Step 1: Open Your Browser

• Open Google Chrome (recommended) on your Android phone or tablet.

Step 2: Go to the Website and Log In

• Navigate to freesteading.com.
• Log in to your account.

Step 3: Access the Install Option

• Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines ☰) in the top-left corner.
• Scroll to the bottom of the menu.
• Tap the "Install the app" button (it has an Install button next to it).

Step 4: Confirm Installation

• Tap Install when prompted.
• Wait about 10 seconds — the app will download and install automatically.
• It will appear as an app icon on your home screen.

Step 5: Open the App

• Close or swipe away Chrome.
• Swipe right (or find it on your home screen) to locate the Freesteading app icon.
• Tap the icon to open the app.

Step 6: Enable Push Notifications (Recommended)

• You’ll likely see a prompt: "Freesteading would like to send you push notifications."
• Tap Allow (strongly recommended for community communication).

Step 7: Customize Notification Preferences (Optional)

• Tap your profile icon in the top right.
• Select Preferences.
• Scroll down to the Push Notifications section.
  • Toggle Disable push notifications off/on as needed.
  • Adjust individual notification types below.
• Tap Save to apply changes.
