Hey everyone!

We've just added the Discussions by State section, and we're ready to start turning on individual state forums so members can connect locally with other off-grid and homesteading folks in their area.


Right now most states are not active yet. This is where you come in.


How to Request a State:

• Reply to this thread with the state (or states) you'd like to see activated.
• If you're in a territory, province, or another country, feel free to request that too.
• Bonus points if you tell us why it would be useful for you!

We’re also looking for State Leaders / ModeratorsIf you’re passionate about building a strong local community in your state, we’d love to have you help lead it. Responsibilities would include:

• Welcoming new members
• Keeping the forum friendly and on-topic
• Posting group topics from time to time

No experience required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help grow the community.

I would like to see Florida activated, please.

I would like to see Tennessee activated. There are remnants of "Tennessee Homesteaders Alliance" groups extant in our various counties; sadly they mainly talk to each other through the default social media. I have high hopes for this much more Freedom- Oriented site to be available for our like-minded community.

Glad to see you are back! I just happened to check after many months of wonder. I would love to see Pennsylvania activated. I also think there is a possibility to divide into different growing regions. Like- East to West -Seacoast, Plains, Mountains, Plains, Mountains, Plains, Seacoast. And subdivide those into from North to South either North, Mid, Central, South OR separate by 2 or 3 growing zones. I feel we are more related by climate than boundaries created by men in Europe 250 years ago.

Also for EVERYONE who has already requested other states (TX, GA, OH), I noticed a few of them need to have a setting changed to post a new thread. I’ve updated that so you can now post on those states. Sorry about that. When I made them I must have pushed a wrong button.
