We live on a beautiful 20 acre homestead where we grow a 1/4 acre garden, and have a 1/2 acre orchard of apples, peaches, plums, blueberries, elderberries, and chestnuts. We can, freeze, and dehydrate our produce to last all year. We have 35 chickens consisting of Dominques, Easter Eggers, Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, and Black Australorps. We also have 2 beehives and try to encourage wildlife of all types to live on our property. Although we are blessed to now live on a large property, we homesteaded on a 1/4 acre on Long Island for many years.👨‍🌾🐔🐓🌱🇺🇸🐝
