A couple of Good weeds that you can get out of your yard are dandelion & plantain, lambs quarters, purslane…. There are really so many it can get overwhelming. I’m focusing my study on the wilds that can be foraged in my area. But I must confess, I really love all the foods (Herbs) that are our medicine.

Healing Herbs Natural Living has classes. (YT)

    Honeystead Apothecary (YT)

How in depth do you want to go? Around the home or into the community. Amy Fewell has a YT channel and recommends some books. I’ve bought/read most of them and they are very informative.

Maybe we could have an herbal forum for discussion?

Sounds like goulash to me. My mom would make at the end of the week. Whatever was leftover in the fridge went into it.

I agree water is priority. I can create rain catchment systems but don’t (yet) know how to get it inside the house because it is my BOL. I’m a party of one so going outside to get water could get tricky as no one is watching my back. Then what? SOL.

Spags, I’ve never seen this one. I’m pretty sure the meant to say, kiss your a$$ goodbye.

We were trained to do this in elementary school for tornadoes. 😳

😬 well it was usually hamburger, tomatoes, beans, macaroni, onion, garlic and spices. Yours does look fantastic and I’m not sure what is different except you definitely have a gourmet fashion.

I’ve got a lot of work to do. I realize under current circumstances, I might as well put a sign out “free pickins”…well not exactly unless I’m sleeping.

I’ve been watching the Community videos. I guess I’m going to have to drive to Perry Lake KS to meet like minded folks.

No one in this group from my area. I’ve asked round about here if people are prepping. I’m getting deer in the headlights.

This one here….drives me crazy. There are so many medicinal benefits of marijuana that The baby boomers (and others) could benefit from but are terrified to even try, ie. Parkinson’s, pain relief, anxiety….

I also feel like crime would be less because people would be chillin! Just my opinion. 😁
