I have lived for seven decades and plan on a few more before resting awhile.  I am widowed with four grown children who are doing just fine in this world for now, only one lives nearby.  Currently live alone with my dogs, cats and a garden and bee hives.   Been gardening for most of my adult life.  Converted my garage to a makeshift greenhouse including a rocket mass heater(while it works, it is not efficient for the coldest months of Northeast Pennsylvania).  Looking for the best way to manage my homestead as the aging process continues.   I live simply, and continue to be frugal which at one time was necessary to make ends meet, but continued to be so because it just makes sense.  I enjoy the most simple things in life, and have a strong connection to nature and the outdoors.  Most important lesson in my life was to understand the word ‘enough’ in all aspects of life.
