Welcome, have you connected with any other parents in your area? They might be able to help you some if that’s something you desire. I personally think your doing the right thing and it might be what saves our country. Some churches in your area might be able to help too.

I starting learning music in my teens because i wanted to write songs. I never had lessons so it was a struggle. I was always asking questions to people i knew who played. I started on guitar then bass and a little keyboard. I was going to the library and yard sales looking for music books but all i could find was the old Mel Bay books. I learned some chords and began my songwriting journey. My first ones were really rough and i think my family and friends told me they were good just to get me to leave lol. Eventually i got better and the band i was with wanted to use some of my songs on our first album. One of my songs got picked up for a one song record deal and promoted. Eventually the band folded due to marriage and child responsibilities. I played in several other bands but now i just sit on the porch play guitar and still write some. Everyone should try and learn an instrument it seems to open up a part of the mind that helps with creativity and problem solving.

I’m not sure you will have the room or a way to stabilize it. Being that the Ecofan works with tempurature
might make it inconsistent. You could try some vise grips and see if you can attach it safely. Let us know.

Hello Grammy, i was just wondering that during the height of the covid scamdemic did you ever hear anything about seniors in healthcare or assisted living type places being threatened they would lose Medicare/Medicaid benefits if they didn’t get vaxxed up. I was curious because i have heard some rumors.

Yea, it’s kind of sad sometimes you will see somebody that has to ask others how to fix their problems but they have never tried to do it themselves first. I grew up being a fixer and even when i moved away from home my mom would ask me to come over and fix this or that. I would ask why don’t you ask your other son and she would say he doesn’t know how or he doesn’t want to mess anything up???? I did it for her not him. When my bike would break when i was young i had to figure it out or walk. We didn’t have you tube then. You build so much confidence everytime you accomplish something. I think if the SHTF the fixers will be the ones who will pull the people through.

Exactly, if you never try you will never learn. I can’t count the times I’ve tried to explain to someone how to do something and they ask me is it hard to learn and i have to think what’s that got to do with it. Usually when you learn something yourself you never forget it.

Would it be possible to maybe set up a nice camper on your property for your mother. I don’t know her physical or mental condition but someone in their 80’s paying a lot of money for a house might be little much. Unless you would maybe inherit said property later. I just don’t know all the variables involved.

I totally agree with you. I take it your in Tennesse and i hate it that so many people are moving there with a different mind set. NC is getting the same way. People move here thinking it’s better but bring the same problems they left. Maybe they will wake up. I believe alot of the people leaving NY and California is planned intentionally to spread a certain ideology like a cancer.

misswoody, your right alot of people have become untrusting. I think so many of us have been deceived so many times. Alot of us so called boomers used to help others freely but you have to always take risk these days even to open the door to a stranger or to help someone broke down beside the road. With all the fake news and the constant backstabbing from our leaders it forces people to trust no one.

Wow that’s alot of stuff you had going on. At least you didn’t give up because nothing gets accomplished that way. I thought i had it bad when only 5 things went wrong all at once. I love shepherds best ever. Take care.
