I’ve worn many hats in the past, but 2 years ago, I walked away from the rat race and returned to my roots in WV. I’m learning from YouTube, workshops, neighbors, and trial-and-error as I set up a homestead with a goal of being locally sustainable. I know I won’t grow or produce everything I need, but I’d love to find as many local and community sources as possible. My dream is to establish “an old home place” where family (and friends that feel like family) can retreat to and rely on when times get tough.
