My name is Kim. You can call me that or use the attached nickname.
We moved from CA (1997) to AR and I don’t miss CA at all, especially these days!
I have a BA in Recreation and Leisure Services and decided to go the direction of Parks.   While in CA I worked in childrens’ programs with the YMCA; and two county parks depts.  One county as seasonal help (3 yrs) and the other county as a park ranger (about 8 yrs). A couple years after being laid off, we moved to AR.  While our daughter was in school, I took local jobs, including ‘lunch lady’ at daughter’s school and proofreader for the local newspaper.  We now live on 78 acres on top of the mtn.  We are close enough to town, but not too close. Really love it here.

I am married 31 yrs now and we have one  daughter and 4 spoiled mini dachshunds.  We are retired and have just finished building our house to spend our retirement years in.
