I am an individual who has high-functioning autism and a healing ability akin to reiki with a background in biological science and autism-related work. I learned about naturopathy in 2013 and became interested in pursuing the field. My current job is care provider, but it is mainly to care for a disabled family member while the breadwinner works. I feel like a fish out of water with my family in Georgia, wanting to move where I feel more at home knowing that I could support myself without “selling my soul” since I am aware of the current times and have been trying to prepare for them.

Over the years in trying to network and find work, I traveled to various conferences near and far. With a few, I took some photos as well as some designs created on MS Paint to create my Zazzle shop, EQBNR, https://www.zazzle.com/mbr/238512096364207889.

Later on, I traveled to another conference that was more focused on economics than in my original scientific fields, but it was a bust. On the return home, I felt really emotional as I was also wanting to visit a friend after that conference. The emotional turmoil and the experience became the inspiration of my Substack, Deft Ardor, https://deftardor.substack.com.

Meanwhile, I have been updating a few of my medically-related skills via small training programs like Patriot Nurse and Bear Independent, and I would like to find shadow or – preferably – find work in a lab or clinic with a living-wage in either a naturopathic company, preferably in a state that is naturopathic friendly and without vaccine mandates. Long-term, I would like to be able to pursue education in the naturopathic field to develop my healing ability while having as little student loan debt as possible, especially if I could live in Texas, Colorado, or Arizona.
