I just posted the same problem. What internet browser are you using if I may ask, I am using Chrome, I was not sure if I was the only one.
For me it takes you to the exact position of the discussion, then yanks you back to the start of the thread.
A work around is before you go there copy part of the text you see in the comment then search for it in the thread when you are at the start of the page…

I follow three channels to keep up on that.

Thanks for those links…
I did not know it affects mushrooms 🙁
Per your link it does…

Yeah, much depends on the goals you want to accomplish where your investments will be.
I have 1 acre paid for minus the government rent ( taxes )…
<font color=”rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)” face=”inherit”>I remember growing up when we paid off the farm we decided to celebrate!… We went out to </font>McDonnell’s 😉 That was big stuff to us back then.
Land is a good investment, unless they change the tax laws so that it is not…
Biden has put inheritance tax on farms so many are selling off the farms to pay the taxes.

Yes, yes and yes.
One of the things I do like about them is they deliver. They make goals and achieve them. They have a clay house finished.
Sometimes it does not make sense to build from scratch when you can find an used item at a good price, but with the way our shipping is, and trying to get our parts from the other side of the world, being able to build from scratch is making more and more sense.
Open source means people from all over can improve the design. I adore open source design myself.

I don’t have clay on my property, but I thought about buying a load to make a cob oven with…
What did you build with the clay bricks if I may ask?

Thanks for that Julie,
Having a local dealer that gives you a good price for your goods is great, glad you found someone that you can deal with.
Thanks for sharing.

I have heard the same… That is the reason they say if you use an old microwave as a faraday cage to cut the wire off for more protection.

I have an idea for a solar charge control that would be EMP proof. Use a mechanical timer, you know your battery takes 5 hours to charge, Turn the timer for 5 hours and it will shut off not over charging the battery….. But will be a PAIN to do that every day.
-
But you make a good point, if there is no mail service then we would have to have a new means of finding one another….. Might have to use present GPS coordinates, again you work with what you have.

I would imagine it would be the scale of the nuke, small tactical nuke in the UK would not. the M.A.D. Mutual Assured Destruction would not be a pretty picture at all.
If you look at Japan where we hit the cities came back. But, that was pre H-bomb, and pre Tsar bomb that Russia has, which has never been tested at full capacity they were afraid of how much damage it would do.
We are looking at low flying hyper sonic missles… Not the high arch that our star wars program was made for… They may use both after the hypersonic missles take out the main targets then move in with the old tech.
We would probably be looking at nuclear winter with all the dust created by the bombs. But at some point ham radio would be back online. Massive starvation, stick and stones scenario as Einstein predicted WW 4 would be.

Yep, one of the reasons I like using the car as the second homebase. I run a group on mewe for those who live out of their vans / tinyhomes / RV’s. Being able to continue on with the least amount of items sounds like good prepping to me.

Yeah, I have been thinking thru the EMP factor….. I think for a while will can use go carts and lawn mowers to get around till we repair the computers in our cars. May have to run on wood gas for a while… hard to know exactly what that world will look like… Not sure if CB’s will work after nuke event with a Nuke at high altitude..

But you are right Gab is indeed free speech, and it does go against the grain of the “group think” mentality. I will do my own thinking, thank you 😉

I just got done deleting my youtube channel, I have moved over to Odysee, Rumble, Brighteon, and I have been starting to just look at Gab to understand it. I did not know you had to pay to have a channel there, I adore the Gab message board after you block the creeps, it is a decent place. Part of a few homesteading/gardening groups there. I spend most of my time on Mewe, and visit Permies from time to time. With the censorship as bad as it is from big tech having multiple platforms to me seems to be the wise way to go.
