I run a solar cooking group on MeWe. I own the Sun Oven, and vacuum solar cooker. I recently came across a video by Desert Sun 02 on Youtube that looks to be a good design.

This one I thought was very well made.

This one very cheap to make, but looks like it would work well.

Yep I am with, you I ask for my daily bread. I do wonder how much of what I do is not working with in the “trouble of this day”….

Yeah, I was thinking things like go carts and lawn mowers should have no problem running. The big thing after a nuke is loosing communication, and electrical grid would be my guess. Much depends on the height of the detonation of the nuke…. and how far away we are to the event. Most cars should just work from what I understand, unless you are dealing with a custom made EMP device which can ruin your day….

Some things are written to Jews, others to gentiles. Saying a passage is the word of God is like taking the verses…

“Judas went out and hanged himself.”

    “Go and do likewise”….

Without proper context, you end up with the wrong meaning.

You are right about the OT that they left out outer part of the field for the poor. But there is an understand with that…. The poor had to come and do WORK to get the grain, Ruth had to get the grain from the fields to get that food. I have been thinking much the same with those that come that they can work for food. But that would take time for me to know that I could trust them. So many today only want a handout, and not a handup. As you say we all have limits of how much we can help.

The Holy Spirit combined with the bible indeed. As the Holy Spirit will not speak in such a way that it will not be in harmony with the bible. So many claim they heard a word from the “Holy Spirit”, when it was only their own minds and not God leading them. It is good that the Bereans checked what Paul said by checking what He said with the bible.

Tithing was both a law in the OT, ( to the Jewish people via the laws of Moses ) and a choice. The choice of Abraham to give 10% of his winnings from the War effort was his choice. Myself I do not see tithing as a requirement for the Christian church mentioned anywhere in the NT, what I do see is free will offerings, and people giving as they can give, not being pressured into giving.

If Christians choose to give 10% of their income that is their choice, there is no issue of that, the trouble is when people say the bible says Christians are to give 10%, then they goto passages that in context were written to Jews, not to the Church.

I found it very interesting in the new testament the church did not give to all. There were requirements to those who they gave to. Boundaries so needed, but those who have no boundaries are sure to come to you to fix the problem they created….

David did a video recently that he shows the picture of what the damage looks like.

May want to go 4 weeks in testing, I have heard from a friend that they had the damage happen late in the growth.

  • Yes, government now polices not the laws, but your thoughts now….
