Greetings Freedom4me. I can agree with many suggestions already discussed in the previous replies.
I can tell you with my husband and I’s experience prayer and fasting to ABBA YAH was the number one action we took to find our 5 acre property.
We were lead by The Spirit to a beautiful parcel in Arkansas, with no building codes. It has a year round spring as well as a creek, mixed pasture with woods, that we paid $4,000 per acre. We were originally looking in Missouri but we are so happy we followed The Spirit’s leading here.
Yah will lead you there you just have to listen to his voice on where you should look. Once you find that area go explore, network with people. I agree with others that having an advocate in your area helps. There are so many options not listed on the internet.

I have been an avid gardener for several years but this year is my first year implementing square foot gardening. I am starting from scratch on our new property and it seems like an excellent way to plan my garden. I have always been guilty of trying to jam too many plants in an area so I am hoping this will help me with that.

I do sift. We are starting from scratch on our homestead so we don’t have enough compost to fill our 4 16ft long beds as well as the back to eden bed. My husban dug out our creek this fall so we do have an abundance of material I have been sifting. It is full of rocks but a really good base for beds. It is hard work but well worth the effort. I agree with doing tasks manually. Our son is a little over two and loves to help with these types of chores.

Nice work! Just did this ourselves a couple of days ago. We used hydraulic concrete, blocks, and copper piping. Still have to cover it up after putting plastic down. A very satisfying feeling!

Our family also keep Shabat. Although, our family does not use the Gregorian calendar so for us we celebrate on Tuesday. We rest, pray, take nap , read/study the word, and worship. It is nice to allow myself to take a nap when our two year old takes his daily nap. Usually I am busy trying to get as done as I can when he naps. I listen to Derek Prince Ministries and Davis Ministry for Shabat and during the week. Every morning is started with prayer and every night. I read Yah’s word every day. The morning before my Son and Husband wake up is the best but not always doable with my Son. I always find time. I really love my Cepher bibile, it includes Enoch, Jasher and Baruk 1 and 2, along with a few other books excluded my most bibles. I eat a high fat carnivore diet and do strength/HIIT training so that really helps my mental. Keeping my house relatively clean and clutter free helps a lot too, although I have to work at being a good house keeper. Reading to my Son helps me wind down at night, and getting off all devices at least a couple hours before bed. Although, at times I don’t! I also just like hanging out with our livestock and chickens. Something about watching the chickens scratch around always calms me. I have a small garden that is usually a bit neglected, but it is always nice to get out and check on our plants. Morning chores feel like a privilege to me. Keeping my friend circle small has always served me well. I enjoy interacting with people, but I definitely stay away from any toxic personalities. If anything is ever bothering me I always go to ABBA Yahuah for prayer and ask for help through The Set Apart Spirit. It is amazing the events that unfold. If there is an issue completely out my control like world events I say Thank You YAH for these labor pains, your son Yahusha Ha’ Mashiach will be back soon!

We have a bucket milker from hamby dairy https://hambydairysupply.com/cow-milking-equipment/https://hambydairysupply.com/cow-milking-equipment/
It has worked great for us, it is a little pricy but not something you want to go cheap on. We have multiple extra parts on hand just in case. I would definitely stay away from the amazon options. Keep an eye on craigslist sometimes you can find good deals on milking equipment.

Thanks for sharing I am a recent transplant to AR OZ. I was contemplating planting Tomatoes/Peppers. I think I will wait!
-
May I ask where you got you got your Ozark-Kat tree’s? I would love to plant some if I could. Thanks!
-
Looking forward to comparison from before and after. This is our first year on this property so I will not have a comparison.

That’s great, so many basic ways as well as more complex ways to implement it.

Can’t wait to hear about your progress 🙃

Honestly, I am not usually the type to dip my toe in the water, or talk about something before I do it. My husband and I have prayed about this frequently and are starting to get some answers. I have been doing my best to cultivate patience. My ADD side has a hard time with that. I am just going to let ABBA lead us as we are at a major crossroads right now. We want to do his will. With whatever comes next will be for Yah’s good and glory. It is a good thing we aren’t interested in being influencers because universal Truth is not subject to mass appeal and that is going to be a large part of our channel. Thanks again for taking your time to respond, really appreciate it. I know how busy we all are.

I don’t care for getting my picture taken either. Although, its more about my voice I just don’t like how I sound😆but I think I can get used to it. I prefer to be behind the camera. I am trying to convince my husband to do the videos, he is a better speaker than myself and a natural teacher. He did Machine Shop classes (mill and lathe) for a few years for a non-profit here. The internet could use more experienced teachers like yourself so many people doing videos on youtube that are brand new, have no idea what they are doing! I totally agree with the privacy factor. We have so little of that left now! That is probably been the number one hang up for us with sharing what we are doing.

Absolutely, I was thinking a lapel mic might be a useful investment. Thanks for your response!
