Amen Deb! None of us know when our spouses may no longer be here. My husband & I try to teach each other things, but, in reality, there are things we are both limited to do. Thus, the importance of being part of a community. What I can’t do, others can. We are in this life together!

My husband started getting wood ends from a pallet making company in early spring. He went 2 weeks ago & only got left overs as now everybody else has begun to prepare for winter. So very, very grateful for a forward thinking man!

Teaching our young is so important. Our lil ones enjoying john deere tractors & sand ( just like their dad did – actually his tractors from when he was their age) . I always treasured my time w/my grandparents & great grand parents. I was fortunate to have great grand parents into my adulthood. My grandmother will be 90 in October. Still lives alone & fiesty. 😉

This week, we took time away from our jobs to focus on organizing our home (to store our harvest) plus set aside some for others. We have thanked God for our blessings. It’s been a good week & we are grateful for the opportunity to help others.

We had a window in our bathroom at our previous house. We miss not having one in this one. It wasn’t in the shower, but, right next to it. Once out & decent, was nice to open up & enjoy fresh air & sunshine.
