It would knot up in the machine and break off if pulled too tight. I was thinking about making a piece of decorative art with them. They are super cool and on old wooden spools. It had just never occurred to me that thread would not hold up and be useable to sew with in a machine.

Good Morning Cathleen! My name is Jessica, I live in Arizona and am currently a public school teacher. I currently teach music and computer coding. I also have a special education and a culinary degree. My hope is to bring real skills to the student. We need to bring back home economics and “trades”. I am in agreement with your post and love the idea of Scripture being at the forefront of the curriculum. I am so thankful that you are here and we have found one another! In the times we are living in, I am looking forward to being a part of something so revolutionary. This will change the trajectory of a generation. I am so excited!!

We are in Arizona. My blackberries have thorns. I have been told they are bi-annual and need to be pruned every two years. I am in my 4th year and even after pruning, I can say this year there is a lot of brown we need to cut out. We had a great harvest last season and so many runners I lost count. It really is an invasive grower though.

I said that I thought there was a different heat coming from the sun this year. I am born and raised in Arizona and every year we can hit up to 128 degrees for many days in July and August. We never hit 122 maybe twice this year. But, my plants were burned beyond belief, fried. Never have I experienced that magnitude of burning without heat above 122.

This is such an amazing story. It truly has touched my heart. I love that despite the circumstances, your husband stared adversity in the face and overcame! It takes real courage not to focus on what you lost and no longer have and instead, turn it around and continue to live doing what makes you, you. You and your husband have an inspiring story that would make a good book. I love reading true stories that shift my thinking and have a lasting impact. This is that kind of story. Thank you for sharing. I am praying blessings on you and your family.❤
