For sure not just to learn and get experience, also to be able to earn some extra savings.

From what the chickens give, is for our son. His first hens are laying now, and he says thank you and gives them a huge. He knows the difference between breeding and meat chickens and is going to learn that also with rabbits.

He can help grow vegetables and fruit and share at school, like he did in Kindergarten.

The project is for the Kindergarten and school, to experience and learn how to grow.

Gaining weight when others eat is the wurst!

  • You are welcome, love to show you around. Glad we can write on freesteading, do you have whats app or signal? Maybe we can private messege?

As soon as we got them, I will put some pictures up and introduce them. They are silver and casper now, but could be that our son will give them a new names.

Will give Nana a big hug and snuggle from you, she is so sweet as she can be. Comes to you and pushes her nose against you, then you must pet her over the nose head and so on. She drops her ears and head, lay down and closes her eyes. Now I call her and say come over first a pet and then your greens or fruit. It is just if things do not go according to her wishes, she will get her attitude and will not let you pet her.

O my what a meat rabbit bb was, did she taste good? Do not worry about Nana, she will get 3 chances to see if she is a good breeder. And if not we will find her a good home, but it is to early now first change will come soon.

Please take good care and look after yourself, hope you can take some time for yourself and relax a bit. Do not be to hard on yourself, there is just so mutch you can do but you can not do all and for everybody.

They are like potatoes good food, if they get invasive just keep mowing that area. Or let the chickens deal with them, they give them no chance to grow.

The Bresse are doing the best, if I was a farmer would take them for eggs and then after 1 one laying season meat. They will lay maybe a couple less eggs, but the cost will be less because they are such good foragers and will pay extra with excellent meat.

Crazy is it not, so many all over the sky. And you can see the weather changes for days, do not even listen or look at the weather forecast anymore. Just look at the weather outside and what nature tells me. We are in a micro climate, you can see it going around us and behind us getting wurse.

This week I seen a sunrise so strange, the sky red all round not just where the sun was coming up but also were she sets and it was still dark.
