My family lives in the Black Hills. Our family owns three tire/auto repair shops. We have two adult children who can see what is happening in the world and are also working to be prepared.

We planted two gardens this year, our first. We have always hunted and this year we added chickens and they started laying about six weeks ago. We are very pleased with things so far, but we are constantly learning.

We have found a handful of people in the area who are also working on homesteading and preparing. I am very hopeful we are on our way to a solid MAG.
