Very nice! A lot of work and love went into that garden.

What we really need is to have constitutional separation of power enforced. I can’t think of any executive edicts that came from this administration that have been beneficial to the American people.

Excellent! Congratulations! That’s a great start. Success on the first vinegar gives a person a lot more confidence to try to make it with different bases.

I didn’t know the podcast was on YouTube. I thought it was only on audio apps. I’ll have to go subscribe.

LOL!! My mom has a sign in her kitchen that says her pets give her breakfast

That’s interesting. Thanks for the information, and please post an update if you find out anything more or if the vinegar continues to change.

That’s great! Please let us know how they turn out.

No. My cedar vinegar didn’t get thick. It looked something like Braggs apple cider vinegar, except for the color. Can you upload a picture? I’m curious to see what it looks like.

I envy your dilemma of having too much basil and persimmon!! lol

I actually use my banana vinegar and just pour it from the jar into the washing machine softener dispenser. I filtered the vinegar through a fine mesh strainer and then through a cotton bandana before storing it in a jar. It’s fairly clear.
I’ve used my citrus vinegar the same way.

I purchased a hanging mesh dehydrator for herbs last year that might work for BSF larvae. It’s inexpensive and they come in different sizes. This isn’t the exact one I got, but it’s close. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FH4JCPT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_KA2TE3JX8PX5NPKAAGNG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I figured that’s what happened with the double post. I’ve written posts and then thought of things I should have added. It took me a few tries to figure out how to do it.
Thanks for the additional information in your latest post. I see that I’m not the only person who appreciates it. I’ll have to try to print it out and keep it for next year when (hopefully) I might have the time to try it myself.
