In July 2021, my man and I were exploring AZ.  We had been camping in our travel trailer.  My sister and her husband had been going with us. We were enjoying the good life when we were not supposed to be.  Then my sister said, “You have to go to the Caverns. It’s beautiful”.  So we went. At the time I was having health issues but chalked it up to getting older.  While we were enjoying nature my heart was beating fast and I was out of breath all the time. My man said, you ok?  I said, “well if I’m gonna die, I couldn’t pick a better place to do it”. By September he had found us property in Seligman and we purchased it sight unseen. He moved the trailer and started living here fulltime with water jugs, a few solar panels and a gas Genie.  He had purchased a cell booster so we could communicate. I would come on the weekends and bring him provisions. He has done so much in such a short time with a very limited budget.  He made it so I could join him in April.  We have purchased another trailer for me to work from and we have made a lot of new friends with like minded thinking.  My family thinks we’re running away.  I prefer to think we are running towards God’s creation. we have been living off grid ever since. We absolutely love it here and wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else.
