I am a  widow, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and have lived on my current property for 20 years where I have the purest spring water in my well and I do what I can to keep my electric usage as low as possible but our electric rates are one of the highest.  I have dogs and chickens and several gardens in addition to wild herbs that I do wild crafting and literally pick the yard for supper!!  I cook for the dogs and chickens and pick from the yard for the chickens. I practice herbalism mostly for dogs but the knowledge is basic for humans also.
