Good evening future friends! My name is Chris and I’m currently living in northwest Florida. I’ve decided to get my butt in to gear and start taking real action towards living my dream of true freedom. I’ll be asking loads of questions and learning everything I can from anyone willing to share their knowledge.

Planting a barrier isn’t an option. The strips of grass that I’m wanting to use technically belong to the county. They will mow down anything that isn’t grass.

Well it just so happens that I have three piles of compost that I have been turning for the last two months in preparation for the planting. I’ll do some repotting tomorrow.

That’s good info. Thank you. I still have the trees in the pots they came in and they definitely have a lot of fertilizer thrown in there. If it is nitrogen toxicity, will it kill the tree if I leave them in the pots until later this fall?

I have had to help my brother re-dig our leech lines twice. I am most definitely keeping that in mind! I’ve begrudgingly reduced my original number of trees just to make sure I’m plenty far from both.

Okay cool beans. I was figuring on finding some dwarfs. I’ll put the ones that will need more pruning toward the edges. Thanks for the input. My planning has been hinging on this bit of info at this point.
