I’m just an old Southern gent that was born and raised in the South.  However, I was blessed to have had the opportunity to live around the world and discover first-hand how other people live.

Currently between homesteads but still looking for property to acquire.  No idea where the Lord will have me end up.  So, I remain sequestered in my little man-cave for now growing what I can under the limitation set by the owner of ‘no garden’.

As a companion to what I learned growing up about Homesteading, I have also been a student of Preparedness and Woodcraft all my life.  As a Veteran, it has saved my life.  Now, as an older adult, it gives me comfort in the knowledge that I can weather any storm that may befall this country in the future.  In the past, I have taught young people some of the skills I have learned.  But, with the youth of today, the requests to teach have stopped.  It’s sad …
