I have been in fire/ems on and off since I was 18. Was in the NYS Guard (Not National Guard) along with the USCG Auxiliary for a while. Have done some work with the American Red Cross. I had to find things I could do because I couldn’t serve in the military because I have Muscular Dystrophy and a rod threw my left femur. I was and EMT before my son was born. I gave up my career because he had medical issues that resulted in me almost needing to preform CRP on my son and him having surgery at 8 months old. He is also Autistic. My Fiance has Spina Bifida and has rods in her back. We still do alot of prepping and try to live our best and happiest lives we can with our amazing son. We are looking for like minded people to talk about.
