I’ve been a member a little while now. I still can’t seem to navigate very well. lol
I have been (nearly) off grid for 8 years, in North Texas.
We live on family land that has NO ground water so we catch rainwater and haul in water for our daily needs, saving our rainwater for the garden. We have cows and goats that drink from stock tanks. We live in a small home (before it was a “thing”) and also work off the homestead. As you all know, there is NEVER enough time to get our work done!
I’ve been hoping to find someone in a similar environment as ours who has tried “wicking garden beds” they sound like they may be the answer to my garden water issues. Anybody tried them?
