Thank you. I have always calculated mine in pints per day. I do this because I actually use pints in all my food preservation/canning so it has been easy for me to figure by taking notes with what we eat. I have also figured out that we will not be eating lunches if times are that extreme. I always add more and over figure by rounding up quite a bit just in case. This method has really helped me calculate what we need.
