Potato vine ?

Potato vine ?
We are in zone 6a, about 20 years ago I was gifted what was called a potato vine. It has the same leaves as the cassava vine I saw you digging on a video. It produces small dime size potatoes at the leaf joints. The stems are thick, and almost like a rope. Could it be a cassava ? Are the potatoes safe to eat?

There are worthless ones of these, and good ones… The links given above is a good start. They have vairous names, white yam, air potato, and name. Post a picture of what you have it does help if you can.
