That sounds AWESOME!!! However, I don’t think we can get enough stuff in place for us to camp like that. I grew up camping so I have a good idea about all the scenarios you mentioned. I love using a hammock- that’s a great idea. I would need a camp stove to help keep my 3 alpha teenage sons (all 6’ – 6’5” tall)and my alpha husband fed. 😉

My family and I started with the whole homesteading thing (gardening, chickens, persevering, permaculture) before it was cool. But I guess we still are newbies with more to learn and more roughing it gear we need to obtain so we can come to events like this.
