This is good for hiding your location if you don’t want to be found. I went to lineage OS on my phone and removed all Google services.

Covid tracking is something I did not want to buy in my phone, and tracking stays on even when you turn it off. I am starting to believe ham radio may be a better option.

Also be aware they can track your device by mac address, there is a database kept of mac addresses and locations.

I am looking at a pine phone for my next phone so I can flip a switch and all is OFF via hardware.
