I do my kratky gardening in the garage, mostly Romaine lettuce with some Arugula. Very easy to do. I use Masterblend for fertilizer (amazon) and it’s worked great for me. I can grow it about 8 months out of the year, mid- summer just gets too hot. I use a 14 gallon bin and a 2 inch hole saw for the net pot holes. Just a note, use all the same size net pots in the same bin or you’ll have trouble with the initial water level, experience speaking. I started with one bin and expanded to three. The trick with so much lettuce is to harvest in zones, or you’ll be feeding the neighbors as well. It grows back a number of times after harvesting. Have fun!
