Spur of the moment onion curing rack
Part of my onions have come ready before I have finished my garlic and onion curing rack. Well… as they say, “necessity is the mother of invention”.
I needed a really quick way to get these few little onions up before the incoming rain this evening.
Repurposed the extra rocking chair into the needed curing rack temporarily until I finish the actual rack which is also repurposed… an extra porch swing with slatted seat and back. Once loaded, I’ll pull it up closer to the porch roof to allow my garlic and onions to cure off, protected from rain with great air circulation up there.

That’s great thinking! I use a bunch of plastic bread racks. It has airflow and I can easily clean and sanitize as needed.
