We live in a small house yet I have a literal ton of books. I have 6 large cram packed bookshelves in the room I’m sitting in as I type. Problem is I have about that many more books in boxes and stacks and no good place to put them. So I was wondering where and how y’all store your books and other knowledge holding devices. Computers are great but there are somethings I just flat out want a hard copy of that can’t crash or die from lack of power.

You could try building some built in bookshelves or you may just need to add an addition onto your home and make it a library.

Because I live in an extremely limited space I’ve started storing all of my knowledge based hard copies in large stackable rolling totes (books get pretty heavy) because it not only keeps them safe but easier to move if need be.

I had a friend who built a shelf around a couple of their spare bedrooms a foot or so below the ceiling and basically had a border of books. She used decorative brackets for hers, but I would imagine you could use the floating shelf style as well.
