It does not work on black bears. I put it all over my coup which is wood. So far this year I’ve had 6 bears. We do have a lot of bears here… too many. This has been a strange year as far as predators attacking my chickens. Raccoons, possums, hawk, foxes, bears and one dog. I’ve lost about 7 chickens and 2 rooster since spring. It does work for deer very well. Last year 100%. But this year I had to keep applying it.
