Just wanted to give a shoutout to Billy and William on the great work they do on the P.I.M.P. Cast! I really enjoy that platform because it allows me to gain knowledge while I am not setting in front of a TV or Computer. It allows me to be be mobile working outside or when I am driving. THANKS!!!!!

I just heard your interview from a few weeks ago on the Permaculture P.I.M.P.cast. You said that you were in the Air Force and stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. I assume that would have been Rhein Main Airbase. I lived on that base from 1983-1986. My father was Chief of Supply. ( I think I have all that right. I was in Kindergarten- 2nd grade.) Anyway I really enjoyed the interview. I’m in the embryonic stages of homesteading, myself.

Hey BearPong! I was there Dec 82 – Dec 85. So I am sure we saw each other in the BX, Commissary or somewhere around the base. We loved it there. We lived in Neu-Isenberg. We had a great time with Billy and William. So much fun!

That’s awesome! Were you there when they opened the monument to the Berlin Air drop? My mom sang the German national anthem for that ceremony. (She isn’t German, just a good singer.)

Yes! I was there then, but, I was working during the ceremony. I was working like a dog back then. Six days on, one day off, twelve hour shifts. And mostly night shifts. Rhein Main is a Logistics hub now. Check out google maps with the satellite view. Totally changed.
