Market garden operation
Any younger folks around central southside Va or north central NC interested in getting together to build a market garden operation? I have the land and some, maybe most of the tools & equipment needed. Not trying to register as organic but wanting to stay with as many organic practices as possible. There are a couple large cities within an hour, hour and a half that could be trucked to. Although selling to local restaurants and or the wedding venue or golf course may be a better option for year round sales. I am also in the process of building an 8×60 year round greenhouse and a 1/4-1/2 acre pond. Already have livestock.
The time to get going for next year is now.

Wish you luck, I have the opposite problem here in Nebraska. I time and energy but am stuck with what ever I can cram into my yard without running afoul from the neighbors worried about their resale value.

All I have wanted to do was be a truck patch farmer. Lol. That is what my daddy called it anyway. Maybe soon IF everything doesn’t go south.
