Chicken tractor proximity

I have a couple patches of grass along two sides of my property that I was wanting to make use of with a chicken tractor. There is an active road running along side both of these spots. The tractor would probably run within ten feet of the road. Should I be concerned with road/vehicle contaminants in the grass that could pass through in the meat or eggs?

I personally wouldn’t concerned about it.

Only know hay is not good to feed, with chickens you have to find out. Can you plant a hedge or something as a closed barrier?

Planting a barrier isn’t an option. The strips of grass that I’m wanting to use technically belong to the county. They will mow down anything that isn’t grass.

Just watch out for pollution like garbage, that is a problem here that is why the gras is off as hay on the compost by the county here. They find some crazy stuff in there, you do not want to be in the feed like hay.
