Great idea. I am in North Central Louisiana just starting out trying to turn my mom and dad’s old place into a homestead while taking care of my 93 y/o mom. Looked you up on YT and subscribed.

i enjoyed watching your technique. i recently planted 25 thornless hershey honey locust tree seedlings in one of my bahia grass pastures. i surrounded each of them with 4 (free) wooden pallets held together with wood screws. i affixed barbed wire to them and placed small hand-crafted wooden stakes in the ground up against the 4 sides to discourage my cattle, sheep, and goats from brushing up against them and moving them etc.

Wow! You put some work in with that project! It pays to put the work in up front though.

I love your fencing technique! Lost all of my apple and peach trees last year to deer. Going to make the hubs stop by Tractor Supply tomorrow for this set up. Lol! Thank you!
