It means making school fit the kid, not the kid fit the school. Sometimes that means using curriculum or adapting it, or not using anything at all.
It means not worrying that my 8 year old can’t read yet, (no disability) but is doing math above her “grade”.
It’s prioritizing what’s important to me and my children and avoiding wasting time on subjects or themes that don’t fit our goals.
Most of all, it means understanding that God gave me unique children, with different gifts, dreams, and talents. That He has a goal and purpose for my children and I’m here to help them along💚
