I have been into 3d printing for about 2 years.

I have printed out some grow towers that I have been using to grow out cuttings with roots then I transfer to soil with more and more success.

This video gives a good overview of the process.

I have found an easier way to make these which I use with my aquaponic system…

I have started mulberry trees cuttings with good success.

Yeah I am now up to my 4th 3d printed tower, and I have made 4 towers in my aquaponic system, I have rooted mulberry trees, cassava, beans, sweet potato slips, cranberry hibiscus, Rosemary, and several other plants. I plan on using this system to keep my starts for plants for next year.

The fellow that posted the videos put a tomato plant in his and I’m like, you better put that in a sturdy cage or it’s gonna tip over. We’re off grid at the moment so I’ll have to wait until I have enough battery storage to do any long prints, or get someone else to print it for me.

Yeah I am off grid , i have have about 30 KWH of battery storage. I need it to print and keep my fridge going. But I probably won’t be printing more as I use a hole saw in 8 inch pipe then I use pool noodles that I cut up and put into the holes works great when i use them over my grow beds for my aquaponics.
