Back ground checks are fine with me. I’m just trying to shed some light on what I believe is a larger population of single ladies out here trying to live the self-sufficient/homesteading lifestyle. Every so often, we could use a physical hand. Do you have any idea how hard it is for older women to find a MAG? I suppose it is similar to ageism in the workplace. I am helpless by no means. I’m a US military veteran who still maintains her record as a sharpshooter. I farm my own land and raise my own flocks. I can build things and I can fix things. It is sometimes easy to get discouraged. No one wants to be a lone wolf necessarily. But in my experience, there is a certain population of preppers and homesteaders (like myself) who seem to be pigeonholed into that exact position. Anyway, I would love to be able to barter locally whether it’s eggs/produce, freedom seeds or silver and gold. I believe in community. With everything that’s about to go down, there is nothing more important than the ability to buy sell and trade within groups of like-minded people such as this. It is how we will all survive.
